Props to Norfolk St. and Leheigh 03/18/2012

Props to Norfolk St. on a great NCAA Tournament win over Missouri.  It was a well played game and they earned it.  Also props to Leheigh (I think that's how it's spelled, but I could be wrong) on their upset of Duke.  While Duke played a miserable game, Leheigh still earned it.

March Madness 03/13/2012

Filled out my bracket today.  I have Missouri winning the whole thing by beating Syracuse in the final.  My final four is Kentucky/Missouri and Georgetown/Syracuse.  Notable upsets are Montana over Wisconsin and Harvard over whoever it is they're playing (I forgot).  Wouldn't be shocked to see the first ever 16 seed win (LIU over Michigan St.), but can't make that pick until a 16 seed has actually won a tournament game.  Peace!

File Sharing 03/10/2012

From time to time people ask me my take on file sharing and distribution.  I am in favor of it.  The way I look at is:  I don't want the little fish.  I want the big fish.  If I sell 5 books, I make very little.  I have to sell thousands of books to make it worth my time.  If no one knows it's out there, who will buy it?  Therefore, it stands to reason that file sharing and free distribution is a great way to grow a fan base, a reader following, and establish yourself as a writer.  It helps you bring in a bigger fish.  Limiting file sharing makes it harder to get your work into the most hands.  I can either spend all my time worrying and policing that everyone who reads any of my work went about it the right way, or I can spend my time writing and trying to get my work into the minds and hearts of as many people as possible.  I choose the latter.  Since my views are not shared by many in the publishing world, I have chosen to air them on my own personal blog page.  Feel free to comment at will.  Thanks for reading.

The river in South America release 02/29/2012

I'm a fan of smashwords.  However, it is rather unfortunate that there is a big online store that has yet to integrate their systems to allow sale on their site for smashwords' books.  So I have released it myself on the site that is named after a river in South America.  Why do I refer to that site in such at way?  Following my release of "Anomaly" on said site, I tried to promote it.  I did that by blogging on said site.  Some people got irritated by the fact that at the conclusion of every post I made I included a link to my book.  I was reported to said site.  I received an email stating that I was not welcome on their blog pages and that any posts I have ever made have been removed and that I no longer have the right to make posts on their page, review books, etc (basically if I'm not spending money or helping them make money, then I shouldn't even be visiting their site and using up .  The only thing I can do on their site is sell my stuff.  I figure we have a good relationship.  I don't like them.  They don't care for me.  Yet, in some weird way, each of us tries to make money off the other.  Anyway, as I am not allowed (per their email to me) to in any way promote a link to my book(s) on their site in a blog page, I am not going to include it on this one (even though it's my blog page on my own website.  I hate people who have money and try and use their power and influence to control you).  Just go to smashwords and you can get Luvletterz.com episodes for free.  I have the pilot on my Luvletterz.com page on my site.  Or, feel free to go to the site named after a river in South America and purchase it for your device whose name rhymes with "spindle" (don't want to say the name of their own device for fear that they might stick their "blog police" on me on my own page).  It's 99cents.  Either way, I have a day job and will eat.  A good night to all.

It took a while, but episode 5 is out.  I took some inspirtation from some women that I know (I apologize in advance to you.  You know who you are).  For some background on the "Please Understand Me" test that is referred to, check this link:

Greetings to all.  This week has been a little busy.  Been caught up in some Linsanity here in NJ.  Also excited that the St. Louis Blues are doing well in their respective league.  Episode 4 is available.  I tried to take the story a little deeper and develop some characters a little more.  Episode 5 promises to get back to the roots of the story with the crazy women and wildly biting cynicism.  Anyway, I hope enjoy.  Particularly the youtube short film I made to draw attention to a joke in the story.  Peace!

Well, it took longer than expected.  The inspiration was just a little slower this time, but
